PhD Theses to Asistent Director (Agriculture Research) Attached to the Department of Agriculture, they completed their doctoral studies recently at the University of the Philippines Los Baños and handed over their theses to SLCARP.

The theses title of 

1. Dr. A.S. Muditha Kumari was "development and
Characterization of Rice Introgression Lines Enriched with Vitamin A, Iron, and Zinc
Contents)

2. Dr. R.N. Dissanayake was a "genome-wide association
analyses and genomics assisted rapid cycle recurrent selection of agronomic and
biofortification traits using multiparent-derived population of rice"

the Asistent Directors Submitted Their Theses

These two officers officially submitted their PhD thesis on 11 th of September 2024 to
Secretary/Director Sri Lanka Council for Agricultural Research Policy (SLCARP) ).
In that event Dr. Chandra Padmini, Deputy Director Research Management, Mr. Sameera
Dissanayake, Senior Research Officer (CUD), Ms. R.Y.M.P.Ranathunga, Assistant
Director (Admin) and Ms. Thamali Achintha ,Accountant also participated.
